Crypto.com Guides for US Users

Crypto.com is a crypto app and exchange that holds your crypto for you (custodial). US users are served by Foris DAX, Inc., and the app is available in every state except New York, plus Washington, D.C., and US territories. Crypto.com also runs a separate self-custody wallet called Onchain.

These guides cover the Crypto.com problems US users search for most: withdrawals stuck pending, deposits that don’t show up, locked or restricted accounts, and identity verification that fails or stalls. Each is based on Crypto.com’s own help center, fee schedule, and US terms, lists its sources, and shows when it was last checked. Contact Crypto.com only through its in-app chat or chat.crypto.com.

Frequently asked questions

Is Crypto.com available in the US?

Yes. Crypto.com says its app is available in 49 states, Washington, D.C., and US territories. New York is the exception, and its US terms prohibit access from New York.

Who runs Crypto.com in the US?

The Crypto.com App and Web services are provided to US users by Foris DAX, Inc. (NMLS ID 1966158), a registered money services business that holds state money transmitter licenses. In Louisiana, crypto services are provided by Foris Services, Inc.

Does Crypto.com hold my crypto?

Yes. The Crypto.com App is custodial, meaning Crypto.com holds the private keys. Crypto in the app isn't covered by any government insurance scheme. Its separate Onchain wallet is self-custody, where you hold your own keys.

How do I contact Crypto.com support?

Use the in-app chat under Settings → Contact Support, or type chat.crypto.com into your browser. Crypto.com's help center sends withdrawal, deposit, account lock, and verification problems to chat, so ignore support phone numbers found in search results.
