About TheWalletDesk
Last updated
TheWalletDesk publishes plain-English guides to the crypto exchanges, wallets, and apps people use in the United States. We explain what each platform’s own documentation says about fees, limits, and account problems, and we send you only to its official support channels.
Who we are
TheWalletDesk is an independent website. Every guide names its author and shows when it was last updated and verified. Meet our lead author, Matt Fisher. We aren’t affiliated with any exchange, wallet, or app we write about.
Why this site exists
When a withdrawal is stuck or an account is locked, people search for help, and scammers are waiting for them. Fake “support” phone numbers, impostor agents on social media, and so-called recovery services all target people who are stressed and in a hurry.
We built TheWalletDesk so the first answer you find is the official one: what the platform itself says is happening, what you can safely check on your own, and how to reach its real support team.
What we cover
We started with the exchanges and brokers US users rely on most. Each platform has its own page of guides to the problems people search for most:
- Deposits and withdrawals that are pending, on hold, or missing.
- Restricted, locked, or disabled accounts, and what each restriction means.
- Identity verification that fails or gets stuck.
- Limits and state availability, including which states a platform serves.
Next we’re adding guides to software and hardware wallets, payment apps, crypto taxes, and scams. Tax and scam guides can’t be published until a credentialed reviewer has checked them.
We write for US readers only. Rules, fees, and product availability differ by country, and we don’t try to cover them all.
What we don’t do
- We never ask for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or remote access to your devices.
- We can’t access, unlock, or recover anyone’s account.
- We don’t offer “fund recovery” services, and we don’t refer readers to them.
- We don’t publish phone numbers for any company unless they come from that company’s own official website.
- We don’t give personal financial, tax, or legal advice. See our disclaimer.
How we make money
TheWalletDesk doesn’t earn money from this site today: there’s no advertising, no sponsored content, and no affiliate links. If that changes, we’ll update this page and our affiliate disclosure first, and every page with an affiliate link will say so at the top. Money will never change the steps in a troubleshooting guide.
How we work
- Editorial policy: our standards, our independence, and our update schedule.
- How we research: where our information comes from and how we verify fees, limits, and availability.
- Fact-checking: which sources we trust, and in what order.
- Corrections: how to report a mistake, plus our correction log.
Contact
Questions, corrections, or feedback: see our contact page. We can’t access or fix anyone’s account. For account problems, contact the platform through its official website or app.
