Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains what information TheWalletDesk collects when you visit our website or contact us, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little. We don’t run ads, analytics, or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell personal information.
Who we are
TheWalletDesk (“we”, “us”) runs this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through our contact page.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. Please don’t send seed phrases, passwords, account numbers, or ID documents. We will never ask for them.
Information collected automatically
We don’t use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically processes technical information when you load a page, as every web host does, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This includes your IP address, your browser and device type, the address of the page you requested (including any search terms in it), the page that referred you, and the time of the request. See Vercel’s privacy notice (opens in a new tab).
Our site search runs on our own website. We don’t send your searches to a third-party search provider.
What we never collect
We never ask for or store seed phrases, private keys, exchange passwords, or account numbers.
Cookies
TheWalletDesk doesn’t set cookies, and we don’t allow advertising or analytics cookies from anyone else. Our pages don’t load scripts or fonts from third-party servers.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- reply to your messages,
- fix errors you report, and
- keep the site secure and working.
How we share information
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider and our email provider, which process it on our behalf, and
- when the law requires it, or to protect our readers, our site, or others from fraud or abuse.
How long we keep information
We keep emails only as long as we need them to reply and follow up. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited period under its own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve sent us. Contact us through our contact page. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we’ll respond to requests as those laws require. We don’t sell or share personal information as those laws define those terms.
Children’s privacy
TheWalletDesk is for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the “last updated” date at the top.
